Dance performance and ritual to the music of Vangelino Сurrentzis and J. S. Bach. commissioned by Dom Radio

Soulwhirl is a ritual. A dance with dead spirits, where the most inviolable thing a human being has is sacrificed - the soul floundering in the body. Maddening in its faith is the act of self-immolation in dance. Here the dance moves from physical realism to metaphysical realism, where man's wild pain is unwound in the vortex of Sufi dance and leaves the soul forever. The presence in the work of two composers that are significant for me: Vangelino Currentzis and Johann Sebastian Bach allows to spin the vortex of the soul in different directions, accelerating the dance of the soul to freedom, which is already crazy in its speed. The ritual uses the exercises and spiritual practices of George Gurdjieff.
