The Soviet kitchen, a combination of the absurd and sublime; a choreographer, who wanted to conduct the ordinary and virtual reality; a documentary film maker, whose desire was to let our ordinary reality dance.

Together, they have been longing to elevate small everyday things into something we don’t know, the philosophical, light and humorous exploration of our every day reality. The kitchen from the Soviet times was a space of free thought. It was the only place where artists could gather without a fear of being caught, where they could share their opinions with each other.

When Yana Isaenko based in Moscow meets Olga Tsvetkova who left Russia 7 years ago, there is only one place where they can have a night long conversation, in a very small kitchen situated in an old apartment of a Russian composer.
